Rotary kiln production line Precautions when shutting down the kiln

The shutdown of the firing system should be carried out in a planned manner when no unexpected circumstances occur. At the same time, the cooperation of relevant departments is required to ensure that each department carries out community operations according to the firing requirements, especially whether the pulverized coal bunker is emptied and coal is retained. The number of operations for powder supply to the kiln should be well coordinated. Since the coal system does not have a hot blast furnace and suspended bituminous coal, the system’s start-up and shutdown processes involve corresponding adjustments to the system’s operating parameters, the inventory of pulverized coal warehouses, and the next kiln start-up time, which must be carefully considered and configured.

  1. Two hours before the scheduled flameout, reduce the supply of raw meal, gradually reduce coal in the calciner, and then gradually reduce the amount of raw meal to prevent the preheater system temperature from being too high.
  2. Open the cold air valve slowly so that the inlet temperature of the high-temperature fan does not exceed 400°C.
  3. When the outlet temperature of the decomposition furnace drops to 600~650℃, the material will be completely stopped, and the kiln speed will be reduced to 0.5r/min to control the coal consumption at the kiln head.
  4. Reduce high-temperature fan blowing.
  5. In conjunction with wind reduction, reduce coal feeding at the kiln head to prevent raw material from leaving the kiln.
  6. Stop spraying water from the humidification tower, and then continue to reduce the wind.
  7. When the tail temperature drops below 800°C, stop feeding coal at the kiln head, then stop the high-temperature fan, fully open the cold air valve, and use the inlet valve of the big bag exhaust fan at the kiln tail to control the air volume. Note that after coal is stopped at the kiln head, the necessary primary air volume must be maintained to prevent deformation of the coal injection pipe.
  8. Stop the cylinder cooling fan unit and the kiln mouth sealing ring cooling fan as appropriate.
  9. Large cloth bag at the end of the kiln, ash return conveying system, and raw material feeding system.
  10. When the temperature of the rotary kiln cylinder reaches below 250℃, switch to the auxiliary transmission rotary kiln.
  11. After the kiln head is turned off, pay attention to the negative pressure control of the kiln head cover, that is, reduce the soybean air from the grate cooler and the exhaust from the kiln head exhaust fan.
  12. When there is very little material discharged from the kiln, stop the grate cooler. After a period of time, the fans from the sixth chamber to the first chamber will stop one by one.
  13. Stop the electric precipitator at the kiln head, clinker conveying, primary fan, electric precipitator exhaust fan at the kiln head, and use the dust collection and exhaust fan at the end of the kiln to control the negative pressure of the kiln.
  14. Stop the coal feeding fan as appropriate and gradually pull out the coal injection pipe.
