Preheater

One-stop cement spare parts supplier

Preheater

The cement plant preheater, a vital component, employs cyclones, air pipes, and a feeding chamber. This system enhances material pre-homogenization and decomposition, ensuring optimal conditions for the subsequent stages of cement production. Rigorous quality controls throughout manufacturing guarantee the preheater’s reliability and efficiency, contributing significantly to the overall quality of the final cement product. In short, the entire process is: the material moves from top to bottom and the high temperature gas flows from the top to bottom for heating and decomposition of the materials.

Operating principle For Preheater

The preheater, comprising cyclones, air pipes, and a decomposing furnace, facilitates efficient material heating and decomposition. Materials enter through the feeding inlet, undergoing heat exchange with ascending air currents in cyclones, ensuring balanced distribution. The decomposing furnace, vital to the system, provides ambient temperature for material decomposition, leading to a seamless process before entering the rotary kiln. The overall flow involves material descent and high-temperature gas ascent, optimizing material treatment.

Key components of Preheater

The Preheater consists mainly of  cyclone, Air pipe, Blanking pipe, Decomposing furnace, distributing box, feeding chamber, air blockage valve, expansion joint, electric separating valve, gate valve, feeding flap pallet and flap plate, ignition chimney cap, inner cylinder, etc.

Cyclone

The cyclone is mainly used to separate the dusty gas in the duct from materials and gas, and accompanied by a certain amount of heat exchange. The materials separated get into the next pipe through a blanking pipe. The gas flows into the air pipe from the upper part of the cyclone. The cyclone consists of the cylinder, the cone and inner cylinder. The C2, C3, C4 and C5 cyclone cylinder barrels are made of heat-resistant steel.

Air Pipe

The air pipe is where the heat exchange between materials and hot gas takes place. The connection between the air pipe and cyclone capping is in terms of a simple pre-pulling structure so as to compensate for thermal expansion due to the heating duct and cyclone during production.

Feeding chamber

Pre-decomposed material through the feeding chamber into the rotary kiln. The exhaust gas in the rotary kiln gets into the decomposing furnace through the feeding chamber. In order to prevent the dust back into the decomposing furnace with the kiln gas, a feeding chamber of irregular shape is specially designed. The feeding chamber side slope at the lower part and the bottom slope are connected at certain angle connection to ensure that the material directly into the rotary kiln. The blockage clearing holes and air blaster are provided for the sections in the feeding chamber prone to crusting, which are easy to operate.

Inner cylinder

Primarily used to separate gases and materials. The material after heat exchange in the previous level will be separated from the gas so that the material will go through heat exchange in the next level. C1ดᄺ C1 Inner Cylinder

Gate valve

During the pre-decomposing dry process cement production, the tertiary air volume can be adjusted accurately and effectively, which is critical to the balance of the tertiary air and kiln air volume, the coordination on both sides of the tertiary air tube inlet air volume and smooth operation of the whole system.
