Application of anti-smashing radar in cement plant scale system

The cement plant has an unattended automatic weighing system, which includes 7 scales. The automatic lifting pole of the scale gate is controlled by infrared intrusion detection. Due to factors such as direct sunlight (refraction), car driving resonance, rain and snow, etc., the beam deviates, causing the barrier to start and stop incorrectly, causing unnecessary losses. Therefore, in order to solve the problems of frequent use, small area involved, high precision, and rapid movement, a method with strong anti-interference, simple installation, convenient setup, and high sensitivity is needed to achieve stable and stable operation of the vehicle during the weighing process. Quickly and sensitively control the opening and stopping of the gate, making the automatic weighing system operate safely, stably and efficiently.

1. Principle of anti-smash radar

The anti-smashing radar is a triggering radar that uses 79GHz technology to control gates and stops through relay signals output from 2 radar signal output interfaces. High-frequency electromagnetic radio frequency signals are used to sense and identify vehicles, and then control the opening and stopping of barrier gates. Radar signal technology has good penetration, anti-interference ability and directionality, and is not affected by bad weather such as light, rain and snow. The anti-smash radar system mainly consists of a radar signal transmitter, antenna, receiver, signal processor, etc. When a vehicle enters the scale, the radar signal transmitter emits high-frequency electromagnetic waves to the vehicle. The vehicle’s reflected signal is transmitted back, received by the antenna, and processed by the signal processor to achieve vehicle identification and gate control. The anti-smash radar system adopts digital processing technology and can fully perceive the speed, direction, distance, etc. of the vehicle to ensure the safety and stability of the vehicle when passing through the barrier.

2. Anti-smash radar technical features

High precision: The anti-smash radar adopts high-precision signal processing technology and can sense the vehicle in all directions. 2. High stability: The anti-smash radar adopts digital processing technology, which can effectively eliminate various interference signals and ensure the high stability of the gate control system. 3. High anti-interference: It can effectively resist the influence of harsh conditions such as light, vibration, rain and snow. 4. High reliability: The anti-smash radar adopts high-reliability hardware design to achieve long-term and highly stable operation and reduce the failure rate of the automatic weighing system of the scale.

3. On-site installation location and anti-smash test

Anti-smash radars generally use a box installation method with an installation height of 60CM (the distance between the lower edge of the radar and the road surface). Use the holes drilled on the side of the barrier box to install the anti-smashing radar on the surface of the barrier box where the upper and lower scale vehicles pass (that is, the radar illuminates the lane in the normal direction). The installation location is shown in picture 1.
